A wonderful group of SEN children based in Warwickshire took part in a fun day of poetry, cookery and music from different cultures. They invited Abass Dodoo of ‘One Drum’ to take part and lead a day of Drumming workshops. ‘Our students were totally engaged throughout the day. The atmosphere was one of fascination and fun. Abass and Lee brought a real flavour of Africa to the school with their drums, colourful clothes and infectious smile.’ The project gave the children a real chance to shine and has given them memories that will stay with them for a long time. Needless to say they are already planning their next session.
